Other vehicles advertisements series, ca. 1920-1993 (bulk 1923-1949).

The Other Vehicles Advertisements series contains Ford Motor Company advertisements for vehicles other than automobiles. The advertisements are organized into five subseries. The Aircraft subseries, 1927-1930, contains advertisements for Ford Motor Company produced aircraft including the Ford Tri-Motor airplane and Stout Metal Airplane Company. The Buses subseries, 1924-1949, includes advertisements for school buses, bus chassis, and public transportation vehicles. The Military Vehicles subseries, 1943-1961, contains Ford Motor Company vehicles produced for the United States military. These vehicles include jeeps, tanks, airplanes, and engines made during World War II. The 1958 advertisements illustrate the history of Ford Motor Company in aviation with a special emphasis on advanced military aircraft. The Tractors subseries, ca. 1920-1982, includes advertisments for Ford and Fordson tractors as well as farm implements. The Trucks subseries, 1923-1993 (bulk 1923-1949), contains advertisements for Ford Motor Company trucks, commercial vehicles, mini-vans, vans, and sport utility vehicles. Advertisements which feature both cars and trucks are filed in the Automobile Advertisements series. Within each subseries, the advertisements are arranged by model year, when applicable, or year of publication, and then alphabetically by title.
